Exhibit features local African American history

“It’s important to bring down the barriers between the races, the sexes and the religions. It’s really important. We don’t need to hold these barriers. Look around and look at you. You're beautiful.” Those words spoken by Ann Miller Woodford towards the end of her talk at the Clay County Historical and Arts Council annual meeting on May 11 seemed to resonate with many present.
