Summer increases traffic risk

Summer does not officially start until June 21, however, the summer travel season has begun. Seasonal residents and summer visitors will bring more traffic to western North Carolina roads which means an increased likelihood of collisions and more injuries. There is good news in Clay County. So far this year, accidents are down from last year.
