Farmers’ market moving to Fridays

Local vendors from the Hayesville Evening Market and Mountain Valley Farmers’ Market held joint meetings with Suzanne Hanson, of Clay County Communities Revitalization Association, Silas Brown, of the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Office and Stu Jenner, of Historic Hayesville Inc. as facilitators to discuss the possibility of combining the two markets.
A new name was established as Hayesville Farmers’ Market to be on the square from 2 to 6 p.m. on Fridays beginning May 5 and continuing into September.
