Louzelle McCray Carringer
Louzelle McCray Carringer, 86, of Hayesville, went home to be with the Lord July 7, 2018 at her home.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County. She was the daughter of the late Norman Acie and Hubbie Lee Trout McCray. She retired from Clifton Precision in 1994. Lou enjoyed her flower garden and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Neal Carringer.
She is survived by her daughter Eunavee Mease and husband, Larry, of Hayesville; grandchildren, Leah Henderson and husband, Casey; Bunny Williams and husband, Robby; great-grandchildren, Amber, Alicia and Emily Williams and Cannon Henderson; also her church family at Shiloh Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 11 at the Townson Rose Funeral Home in Hayesville. Rev. Clark Moss officiated. Music was provided by the Cody Family. Burial was in the Ogden Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bruce Black, Anthony Garrett, John Talley, Perry Carringer, David McClure and Craig Hooper. Honorary Pallbearers were David Hyatt and Calvin Hooper.
The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 10 at the Townson Rose Funeral Home in Hayesville.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent in memory of Louzella Carringer to the Shiloh Baptist Church.
