Harold J. "Si" Seiler
Harold J. “Si” Seiler, 100, of Sherman, Ill., died at 6:50 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017 at Villa Healthcare East.
Harold was born Nov. 26, 1916 in Fond Du Lac, Wis., the son of Wenzel and Marie Cosgrove Seiler. He married Winnifred Robbins on Feb. 5, 1949 in Milwaukee, Wis.; she preceded him in death in 2011.
Harold proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was employed as an accountant for Allis Chalmers/Fiat Allis for many years.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Helen Washbush, Florence Born and Dorothy Solberg; and nephew, Thomas Solberg.
He is survived by his son, Tom Seiler of Roselle, Ill.; daughters, Carol and husband, David Dankoski, of Chatham, Beth Bachrend of Roselle, Ann Lindsey of Missouri City, TX, and Jean and husband, James Wagner, of Tumacacori, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; eight nieces; and ten nephews.
Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies.
