John Brandon Eller
Mr. John Brandon Eller, 22, of Moore View Terrace, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017 in Towns County. John was born on Sept. 16, 1994 in Murphy.
He was the son of Johnny Kevin Eller and Judy Ann Ledford. He was a lifelong resident of Clay County. At the time of his death he was employed with Hawg Wild Barbecue.
John loved spreading God’s word, reading and studing his Bible daily. He was a devout Christian who loved his Lord and Savior. He enjoyed playing the guitar, hiking and being outdoors. He was a loving and caring son, brother and grandson. John was of the Seventh Day Adventist faith.
Surviving John are his mother and stepfather, Judy and Ron Ledford, of Hayesville, his father, Johnny Eller, of Murphy; brothers and sisters, Jessica Dills, of Hiawassee, Elizabeth Dills, of Hayesville, Michael and Casey Dills, of Hayesville, Daniel (Tiffany) Eller and Christina Ledford, all of Hayesville; stepbrothers, Ronald Ledford, of Blue Ridge, and Cody Abercrombie, of Blairsville; stepsister, Alexis Thornley, of New York; grandparents, Pansy Ledford and Becky Lockaby, both of Hayesville; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends also survive.
A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20 at the Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Clark Moss officiating. A memorial service was held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20 at Shiloh Baptist Church.
The following gentleman served as pallbearers, Michael Dills, Chad Hunt, Michael Wooten, David Anderson, Michael Howe, Mark Mulkey, Brenton Magers, Johnny Eller, Ron Ledford and Daniel Eller. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Justin and Norman Phillips, Eddie Lockaby and Harold Thrasher. The family met with friends 5-6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20 at the Shiloh Baptist Church.
