Julius Lee Hogsed

Julius Lee Hogsed, 66, of Forest City, N.C., formerly of Clay County, passed away on Aug. 6, 2022 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. Julius was preceded in death by his parents Allen and Mildred Hogsed.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Deborah Hogsed; daughters, Chris Hensley (Danny Sprinkle), Rebecca Lane (Darren Lane) and Amanda Faulkner and husband, Tim; grandchildren, Tyler Stafford, Anthony Stafford and wife, Rachel, Gracey, Daniel and Katey Lane, Katelyn Hibbitts and Riley Wiseman; great grandchildren, Ivy and Asher Stafford; sister, Janie Smart; brothers, Allen Hogsed Jr., Johnny Hogsed, Phillip Hogsed and a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 12, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 397 Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Road Forest City, N.C. with Pastors Matt Mills and Darren Lane officiating. A visitation was held one hour prior to the service.

Burial took place at Eternal Hills Memorial Park, 1565 Oakland Road Forest City, N.C. immediately following the service. The Rutherford County Honor Guard presented Military Honors.
