Robert A. Knuck Jr.
Robert A. Knuck Jr., 66, of Hayesville, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 in a Blairsville, Ga. hospital. He was a native of Miami, Fla., but lived in Sarasota, Fla. most of his life before moving to Clay County in 2007. Rob was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the United States Army. He was a retired paralegal and had been attending the Hayesville Church of God.
Rob entered into our Lord’s Hands and no farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye. You will be deeply missed by your wife, children and grandchildren. You will remain in our hearts as “Wildest.”
He was the son of the late Robert A. Knuck Sr. and Elsie Burkhard Knuck.
Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Donna Knipe Knuck; three daughters, Ashley James, of Bradenton, Fla. and Rahab Norris and Leah Knuck, both of Hayesville; a brother, Gerald Knuck, of Hayesville; and five grandchildren, Sylas Bradburn, Bentley James, Colette Stowe, and Abigail and Elijah Norris.
A grave side service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 27 in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain, N.C. with the Rev. Jim Newsom officiating.
