Michele McGinnis

Michele McGinnis passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, 2022, at home in Clay County. Michele was born in Cohoes, N.Y. to the late Edward and Jean DeLude. One of eight children, she attended high school and community college in Albany, N.Y.

Gregg Moss

Gregg Moss, 46, of Hayesville, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2022. He was the son of John Thomas (Roger) and Katherine Elaine Moss. Gregg had worked in landscaping. He loved doing anything outdoors, loved his family, especially his children. Gregg was of the Baptist Faith.

Charlotte Parkman

Ruth Ann Lands

Ruth Ann Lands, 83, of Hayesville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, Dec. 5, 2022. Ruth was born in Clay County to the late Ernie and Faye Ledford Patterson. She was a homemaker. Ruth loved God, her family and spending time with her grandkids and great- grandkids.

Doris McCray

Doris McCray, 85, of Hayesville, passed away Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022 in a Clay County care facility. Doris was born Aug. 18, 1937 in Clay County, the daughter of the late Harley and Farris Breedlove Hicks. After graduating from Hayesville High School in 1955, she moved to Atlanta, Ga.

Luca William Ruiz Mateo

Luca William Ruiz Mateo, infant son of Michelle Colvin and Joshua Mateo, of Hayesville, passed away Friday, Dec. 9, 2022. Luca was the best and most adorable baby Joshua and Michelle could have asked for and they cherished every second with him.

Becky Milinda Moody Peugh Coleman

Becky Milinda Moody Peugh Coleman, 72, of Hayesville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022, after a 20-year illness. Becky grew up in Covington, Ga., playing the piano at County Line Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Charles Lamb Moody, Jr.

E. Ruth Patterson

E. Ruth Patterson, 69, of Hayesville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022 in a Braselton, Ga. hospital. A hard-working and diligent follower of Jesus Christ and a precious mother, she was a native of Owltown Road, Blairsville, Ga.
