Janice T. Moss, 67, entered Heaven's gates on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2019.  She was proceeded in death by her husband, Robert R. Moss, of Penfield, Ga.; son Robby Moss, of Athens, Ga.; her parents, William and Gladys Tarpley, of Watkinsville, Ga.; brother, Terry Tarpley, of Atlanta, Ga.

David Allyn Mohney

David Allyn Mohney, 83, of Warne, passed away Sunday, Sept. 29, 2019 in a Gainesville, Ga. hospital. He was born in Vandergrift, Pa., the only child of Dorothy Barr Mohney and Kenneth Mohney.

Amanda Stewart

Amanda Stewart, 48, of Hayesville, passed away Monday, Sept. 23 at her residence. Townson-Rose Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

Allan Johannes Laukka

Allan Johannes Laukka, 87, of Swannanoa, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019 in Portland, Maine. He was born on April 24, 1932 in  New York City, N.Y. to the late Arne John Laukka and Aino Amanda Serafina Gronroos.  Allan was a United States Air Force and Korean War Veteran.

Kelly Luther Owens

Kelly Luther Owens, 50, of Warne, passed away Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019 at Union General Hospital. He was the son of Luther Owens and the late Jerleen Owenby Owens. Kelly was a physical therapy assistant with Mountain Home Nursing.

Timothy Scroggs

Timothy Scroggs, 64, of Brasstown, passed away Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019 at his residence. He was a native and lifetime resident of Brasstown. Tim built a reputation over 40 years for working on German and foreign cars.

Linda Lou Anderson

Linda Lou Anderson, 74, of Hayesville, passed away Friday, Sept. 20, 2019. Linda was born in DeKalb County, Ga. to the late Rupert and Willie Brown Dispain. She loved to camp and spend time with her grandkids. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Dispain.
