‘Shamble’ benefits women’s golf play
Every golf course has them, score-buster holes that go over the water or seem impossible to reach even with the best of shots. Every golfer has studied their scorecard at the end of the round and lamented that quadruple bogey or lost-ball penalty.
The ladies of the Chatuge Shores Ladies Golf Association had less to lament on Tuesday, June 12 as the game of the day allowed each player to throw out a bad hole on each nine. A total of 20 players teed off in ideal conditions with temperatures staying in the low 80’s.
After subtracting those holes where things went awry, many good scores were posted.
