Camp sees increase in attendance
Hayesville High School held its second annual youth football camp last week on at Frank R. Long stadium. This year 26 youngsters took advantage of the camp and spent three days with the Hayesville varsity football coaching staff and players.
Head coach Kenneth Dockery said the camp is designed to serve multiple purposes. “Our goal for the camp is for the kids to have fun. We want to teach these kids that the game of football is fun. Second we want to teach the kids the fundamentals of the game and encourage them to participate in this game that we all love.”
