REACH benefits from hospital's donation drive
Medical Center collected more than 215 pounds of items to donate to Clay and Cherokee counties’ REACH shelters.
As part of its ongoing community outreach initiative, the hospital's Nurse Professional Practice Council sponsored the donation drive to bring focus to the local REACH organizations serving our communities.
Departments competed to provide items such as laundry detergent, hygiene products, clothing and canned goods. The hospital's operating room, endoscopy and same day surgical department team collected the most items, weighing in at more than 100 pounds.
