We walk here too
Last week I was traveling across the county snapping pictures of our beautiful area. While I was out and about I ran into several nice people who would stop and chat or at the minimum smile and speak as they passed on the walking path.
It was nice to see people enjoying the outdoor activities Clay County has to offer. I spoke with tubers and hikers on Fires Creek, campers at Gibson Cove and bike riders at Chatuge Dam. That is where things went south.
I arrived at the dam around 9 a.m. on Wednesday and was greeted with morning chit chat and as I began my stroll across the dam, a friend came by on his bike and we had a friendly conversation and parted ways. I continued my walk across the dam and noticed a little bag on the side of the path.
