Congratulations is in order to each of theHayesville Middle School Chorus students who were selected to participate in the 2022 North Carolina Middle School All-State Festival held at Gardner-Webb University on Saturday, March 5.

Each student auditioned and then prepared four, three-part and four-part choir songs to rehearse and perform along with other middle school choral singers from across our region. Ruby Kuykendall was also selected to be one of two soprano soloists at this year's event.

This year's All-State events were divided by district due to COVID precautions. The 2023 event is expected to be held, as normal, in Greensboro with three full middle school choirs.
