Dorothy Marie Wuertz, 99, of Hayesville, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021.
She was born in Pocatello, Idaho to the late Henry and Marie Stolhman Fisher. She was a high school home economics teacher and taught junior college until the age of 80. She attended New Life Church in Hayesville.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Walter Fisher, and sister, Geraldine Malone.
She is survived by her son, Steven George Wuertz; daughters, Linda Marie Olner and Donna Lee Gains; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12 p.m. Sunday, May 2 at New Life Church in Hayesville.
