Irene Nicholson Eller, 96, of Hayesville passed away Friday, November 12, 2021.
She was born in Hiawassee, Georgia to the late William P. and Della Margaret Nichols Nicholson. Irene had worked at Anderson's Grocery as a retail clerk. She loved gardening. Irene loved gardening. She was a member of the Lower Bell Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Alvin B. Eller who died October 10, 1993; sisters, Bonnie Kimsey, Paralee Hensley, Marie Kitchens, Euel Stephens and Charlotte Linehan; and brothers, Edward Nicholson and Elzie Nicholson.
She is survived by her son, James "Jim" Alvin Eller and wife Diane of Hayesville; three daughters, Linda Sue Magnus and husband Bob of Palm Coast, FL, Carolyn Jane Moss and husband Gene of Young Harris, GA and Margaret Diane Pasley of Athens, GA; four grandsons; and seven granddaughters.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm, Monday, November 15, 2021 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville with Pastor Kevin Moss officiating. Interment will be in the Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Holifield, Bryan Moss, Dale Luckey, Jason Waldroup, Jason Gilbertson, Shawn Pasley and Chris Pasley.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm, Monday, November 15, 2021 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville.
