Mr. Jerry Lee Caldwell, 73, of Hayesville passed away Monday, August 02, 2021. He was born on June 02, 1948 to the late Ralph and Tillie Caldwell. Jerry was a member and deacon of New Hope Church of God for 47 years.
Jerry was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Navy. He was a skilled carpenter and professional CDL truck driver. Jerry was an avid outdoorsman and experienced horseman, enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Caldwell; a daughter, Jenny Caldwell; and step-son, Joseph Smith.
Surviving are his wife, Chyrel Caldwell; a sister, Nancy Guyette and husband, Ray; two sons, Jerry Caldwell, Jr., and Michael Caldwell; step-children, Kenneth Smith, Matthew Smith, Ashleigh Forbes, Kristen Waddell; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Per Jerry's request, a funeral service will not be held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
