Julie Sellers Hewitt, 61, passed away Sept. 18 in Seguin, Texas. She was born Aug. 24, 1960 in San Diego, Calif. to the late James Howard Sellers and Shelba Lou Watkins Sellers. She was a former resident of Hayesville. She graduated from Hayesville High School in 1978 and attended Mars Hill College. She served in the United States Army as medic and was stationed in Germany.
She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 32 years, James M. Hewitt. Also surviving is her mother, Shelba Lou Sellers Page and husband, Steve; her brother, James David Sellers; daughters, Tina Whitehurst, Carrie Polanco, April Jones, Chloe Bishop and Cheyenne Hewitt and 21 grandchildren.
She loved the Lord and all her family, including her dogs. Her passing leaves a huge emptiness which cannot be filled and she will be sorely missed by all.
A memorial service is being planned for later in the fall at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas.
