Kaden Jahu Charles Metcalf, age 18, passed away Friday morning, August 20th, 2021.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Clay county, N.C. and the son of Angela Anderson and husband Nick Robinson of Hayesville. Kaden graduated from Hayesville high school where he enlisted into the United States Navy at 17, becoming an Airman Apprentice by 18. He was a sailor and proud to serve his country. Kaden was a friend to all, someone you could count on to be in your corner. He was an avid gamer and loved his sister very much. He had a saying "I like pie", lol.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul Metcalf, Ed Robinson and Inajean Robinson; great grandparents, Richard and Laurena Korn and Della Mae Patterson.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandmother, Karen Metcalf of Deming, New Mexico and grandparents, Jim and Donna Fry of Minnesota; two brothers, Keltn Cartwright of Las Cruses, New Mexico and Kayne Anderson of Hayesville, NC; one sister, Laurena Flowers of Hayesville, NC; two uncles, Jeremy Fry of New Mexico and Charles Robinson of NC; two aunts, Amy Fry and Sara Fry of Minnesota; great uncle, Russell Korn and great aunt, Vicky.
