Margaret Reynolds Bond was born June 21, 1929 in Jacksonville, Fla. She passed away at Big Bend Hospice House in Tallahassee, Fla.
She graduated from Manatee County High School in Bradenton, Fla. in 1946, then lived in various locations until retiring from the City of Jacksonville Sports Commission and moving to her beloved North Carolina home in Hayesville 30 years ago. She was a member of the Hayesville Presbyterian church and enjoyed church activities. She volunteered at Granny’s Attic and enjoyed exploring the area with her children.
She is survived by her two children, Kathie Filkins, of Peachtree, Ga. and Reynolds “Randy” Bond, of Tallahassee; two siblings, one granddaughter, two great-granddaughters and one great-grandson.
Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home in Tallahassee is in charge of the arrangements.
