Tanya Lynn Freemen, 38, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021.
Lynn was born on July 19, 1982 in Commerce, Ga. to the late Mr. and Mrs. Ben and Evelyn McConnell Mull. She was a member of Ministries of Grace Church. She loved Jesus and dedicated her life to doing his work, loving on people, being a caretaker in times of need and doing for others before doing for herself. Lynn had a strong will, was always positive and lifted other people up.
She liked spending time with her husband often watching movies at home or driving around to get out of the house. Her husband Roger said she also enjoyed sitting on the porch smoking a cigarette with her brother-in-law Robert. She loved her "granddogs" Lily and Hank. She had a goofy personality and an amazing sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by many.
Lynn is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Eli Freeman. She is survived by her husband, Roger Norton; son, Jeremiah Freeman; sister, Tammy Mull; brothers-in-law, Mike and Robert Norton; along with numerous extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, May 1 at Banister-Cooper Funeral Home, Hiawassee, Ga.
Service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 1 in the chapel of Banister-Cooper Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Banister-Cooper Funeral Home to offset the cost of funeral expenses.
