Mountain Lions move up two positions to No. 11 in latest NFCA poll

The Young Harris College softball team moved up two positions to No. 11 in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association NCAA Division II Coaches Poll.

The Mountain Lions, who are 20-5 overall and to 8-0 in the Peach Belt Conference, returns to action Saturday (April 3) when they host No. 1-ranked University of North Georgia in a 1 p.m. PBC doubleheader at the YHC Softball Field. It will be the first meeting of the Blood Mountain rivals since YHC defeated North Georgia in the 2019 NCAA Division II Southeastern Regional.

Young Harris has a 3-1 record against nationally ranked teams this season.
