Young Harris College's Morgan Curley, Haylie Shope andBiz Walters have been named to the Division II Academic All-District® III Softball First Team as selected by CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America).
The members of the College Sports Information Directors of America by districts selected the teams and the first-team members will now be considered for Academic All-America® honors. District III consists of NCAA Division II institutions in the Peach Belt, South Atlantic and Conference Carolinas conferences. To be nominated, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore with a 3.30 cumulative grade point average and must be a starter or a significant reserve on his team.
- Curley is a designated player from Flatwoods, Kentucky.
- Curley has a 3.76 cumulative GPA as a biology major.
- Curley hit .290 in 38 games (32 starts) wih seven doubles, six home runs, 15 RBI, .540 slugging percentage and .419 on-base percentage.
- Curley was named to the preseason All-Peach Belt team.
- Curley was named to the All-Peach Belt first team in 2021.
- Curley was named to the D2CCA All-Southeast Region team.
- Curley has been named to the PBC Team of Academic Distinction twice.

- Shope is an infielder/right-handed pitcher from Murphy, North Carolina.
- Shope has a 3.87 cumulative GPA as an education major.
- Shope batted .323 in 46 starts with six doubles, 12 home runs, 42 RBI, .654 slugging percentage and .463 on-base percentage. Shope also went 4-0 in the circle with one save. In eight appearances (one start), she struck out 20 in 25.2 innings.
- Shope was fifth in the Peach Belt in RBI and sixth in home runs.
- Shope was named the PBC Player of the Week once (3/15/21).
- Shope was named to the All-Peach Belt first team.
- Shope received the D2 Academic Achievement Award twice.

- Walters is an outfielder from Buford, Georgia.
- Walters has a 3.97 cumulative GPA with a masters of arts in teaching.
- Walters batted .378 in 34 starts with two triples, 17 RBI, .412 slugging percentage and a .413 on-base percentage. Waters was 14-of-16 in stolen bases.
- Walters was named to the All-Peach Belt first team.
