Judith Ann Dembenski, 68, of Hayesville, formally of Trumbull, Conn., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021 at her residence.
Judy was born in Bridgeport, Conn. on Dec. 20, 1952 to James B. Musante and Helene Ann Foytho Musante. She spent her childhood and school years in Trumbull. After completing high school, she worked as a coordinator and parts manager for Video Sciences Corporation in Southport, Conn. from 1972-1991 and purchased the business in 1992, operating it until her retirement. Judy and her husband, Ed, purchased their Hayesville vacation home in 2004 and used it seasonally along with other family members until 2018 when they moved in permanently. Both enjoyed their riverfront home, improving their property with shrubs and flowers, adding a garage and work-space and socializing with neighbors, friends and family. Judy loved to read on her porch while enjoying the beautiful mountain views and often expressed how happy and at peace she felt in her little Hayesville cabin with Ed.
Surviving are her husband of more than 47 years, Edward Dembenski; step-daughter, Kimberly Dembenski, of Cairo, N.Y.; two brothers, William F. Musante and wife, Lynn, of Hayesville and Fort Myers, Fla., and James B. Musante Jr. and wife, Barbara, of Trumbull, Conn.; two nephews, William P. Musante and wife, Robin, of Fort Myers, Fla., and Matthew J. Musante of Orlando, Fla.; two nieces Kimberly Musante, of Bridgeport, and Pamela Musante of Trumbull. Also surviving are eight great-nieces and nephews, Lauren, Hannah, Luke, Gianna, Riley, Logan, Cassie and Carly Musante, who all lovingly called her “Aunt Noodles.” Judy was loved by all for her outgoing personality and her willingness to help others in any way.
Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
