Tucker Anderson, of Blairsville, Ga., powered to victory in the Limited Late Models feature Saturday night at Tri-County Racetrack.
Anderson, No. 17, led the 25-lap main event ahead of Jamie Oliver, No. 38, of Murphy, N.C., in second and Shawn Chastain, No. 00, of Murphy in third. The win highlighted a strong showing by drivers from North Georgia and Western North Carolina.
In the 604 Crate Late Models, Ricky Smith, No. 88, of Hiawassee, Ga., won the 20-lap feature after posting the fastest qualifying time of 13.743 seconds. Cody Gloyne, No. 32, of Cherokee, N.C., finished second, followed by Jason Berrong, No. 56, of Murphy in third.
David McCoy, No. 187, of Franklin, N.C., took the 602 Crate Late Models 20-lap victory, also setting quick time in qualifying. It was McCoy's second win in a row. Michael Barnett, No. 37, of Hayesville, placed second and Shannon Helton, No. 31, of Murphy was third.
Caden Hall, No. 225, of Hayesville won the Hobby Sportsman 15-lap feature. Mark Conley, No. 18, of Blue Ridge, Ga., finished second.
Brawley Stillwell, No. 91, of Andrews, N.C., claimed the Open Wheel Mods feature and Roger Beaver, No. 2, of Murphy won the Street Stocks, holding off a hard-charging Charles Devine.
Christopher Kane, No. 11, of Murphy, topped the bonus Modified Front Wheel Drives race. Mitchell Ledbetter, No. 7707, of Hayesville, led the Front Wheel Drives, followed by Logan Ledbetter, No. 33, of Hayesville.
Jason Newton, No. 08, of Murphy was the lone finisher in the Crown Vic division after several competitors retired.
Tri-County is scheduled to return to action with cars on the track at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 26.
