Nashville recording artist Alex Key and his band,the Locksmiths, are the featured act for County Communities Revitalization Friday Summer Concert on Sept.10.
Wilkesboro, N.C.-based country singer/songwriter Key and the band have played many venues and festivals over the east coast, including the popular Merlefest in 2019. He has built an on-line following of 112,000 people and this year released his first Nashville album “Barstools and Saddles”. When the band hits the stage, you can sing along on many songs you know and enjoy their original material as well.
Craft beer, wine and tempting menu offerings from brewpub Nocturnal Brewing Company will be available. Support this local business with your purchases, and be mindful that carrying-in of alcoholic beverages is prohibited by NC law.
The CCCRA Friday Summer Concert Series is made possible through sponsorships from private individuals, businesses, and organizations, and from donations to the “red buckets” on concert nights.
Music gets underway at 7 p.m. with food and beverage starting at 6 p.m. CCCRA invites everyone to grab your friends and family, your favorite chairs, and come out to the square Friday.
