Mark your calendar now so you don't miss the Hiawassee United Methodist Church's (HUMC) annual Chili Supper on Friday, November 12, 2021. The supper includes chili, crackers, slaw, drink, and homemade desserts—all for $8.
We will set up the same outdoor service as we did last year since we are still dealing with COVID. It was a smooth drive through and pick up to take home and enjoy with your family. Serving time will start at 11 a.m. and end at 7 p.m.
Members of the church will be selling tickets so call someone you know, or you can reserve your tickets by calling the Church in November. (9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday at 706-896-2818). You may also order 1 pound packages of pecans (whole or pieces) for $12 or five pound bags of shelled raw peanuts (also $12) and pick them up when you pick up your chili dinners.
The profits from the Chili and the nuts all go to local charities distributed by the Hiawassee United Methodist Men’s Ministry.
