Caribbean Cowboys to rock the square Friday night

Get ready for a rocking fun time Friday night, July 30 when The Caribbean Cowboys take the gazebo stage on the historic Hayesville square. This Asheville-based band, a perennial favorite for the Clay County Communities Revitalization Association Friday Summer Concert Series, entertains with a mix of classic, trop and southern rock, rhythm and blues, beach music, reggae, bluegrass and country.

Nocturnal Brewing Company will be selling burritos, craft beer and wine while the Clay County Lions Club will be serving up barbecue plates as a fundraiser. Activities get underway at 6 p.m. and music begins at 7 .pm. Please note that carrying-in of alcoholic beverages is prohibited by North Carolina law.

The CCCRA Friday Summer Concert Series is made possible through sponsorships from private individuals, businesses and organizations and from donations to the “red buckets” on concert nights.  Mark your calendar for future concert dates: Aug. 6 and 13 and Sept. 3, 19 and 24.

Everyone is encouraged to bring your appetite, dancing shoes, favorite peeps and lawn chair or blanket to the for a fun night.
