The Clay County Republican Party will host its annual Fall Picnic & Candidate Rally on September 25, 2021, at 12:30 PM, at the Lions Club Pavilion in the Clay County Rec Park Campground off Myers Chapel Road. Open to all Republicans and unaffiliated voters, many local, district, and Congressional Candidates are expected to speak at the group.
The Clay County GOP will provide fried chicken and beverages; CC GOP members and attendees are invited to bring a covered dish or desserts to share. Physical address of the Picnic and Rally is 492 Clay Recreation Park Rd., Hayesville, NC 28904 (off Myers Chapel Road).
Consistent with Governor Cooper’s Executive Order No. 141 exemption for meetings held pursuant to First Amendment rights, this event will be held outdoors, and appropriate social distancing and other precautions will be observed. Masks may be worn at the option of the attendee.
In light of the Picnic and Rally on the 25th, there will be no regular Clay County GOP monthly meeting in September.
