Mural dedicated downtown

  • Artist Corrina Luckenbach, flanked by Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians Chief Richard Sneed and representatives from multiple organizations, cuts the ribbon on her work. The original mural was painted in 1992 by then Boy Scout Matthew Smith. Smith’s father Stephen was in attendance of the ribbon cutting which was held on Tuesday, April 19.
