Hardy is a very handsome Shepherd mix. At just under 2 years old he’s the life of the party. He is always the happiest guy, looking for an active family to enjoy the adventures in life. He hopes for someone who sees the “best boy” he can be. With just a little love, patience and lots of play, Hardy will brighten your home.
Adah is a soft spoken, gentle 8-month-old domestic short hair kitten. She enjoys the quiet life, but doesn’t mind the company of other felines. All she wants in life is a warm lap to lay in, a toy or two and lots of love. This little girl loves to give and receive affection. Oh, what a purr-fect girl.
Valley River Humane Society is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Intake hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. VRHS is located at 7450 U.S. Highway 19, Marble, N.C. 28905.

The adoption fee for cats is $10 and $75 for dogs which includes spay/neutered, vaccines for the year and rabies.
