Stacie Ledford and Teresa Burch Ledford, on behalf of Rock Bottom Recovery and Support, Inc., received a donation from the Ron Beal Foundation and contribution from Brenda and Jackie Sellers to help facilitate the faith-based services offered to people with substance use disorders. RBR&S personnel provide services from connection to treatment and rehab services, providing short-run housing, transportation and other necessary services to try to help individuals deal effectively with the disorders they may have.
Rock Bottom Recover and Support group meets 7-8 p.m. Mondays at the Senior Center in Hayesville, 196 Ritter Road. You can participate in support of this effort by joining in the celebration, food and fellowship on Saturday, Oct. 30 on the square in Hayesville for the “Arise” program. At the same time, you can purchase smoked Boston butts and plates of good food.
