On Saturday the Clay County Sheriff ’s
Offi ce, with plenty of help from volunteers
such as the Sheriff ’s Auxiliary and
K-9 Unit, prepared and served more
than 600 plates fi lled with Thanksgiving
fare like turkey, homemade dressing,
mashed potatoes and green beans along
with a bevy of desserts.
Sheriff ’s workers kept busy delivering
more than 400 meals to those who
were unable to attend. Sheriff Mark Buchanan
thanked everyone for their help
and attendance along with the former
sheriff s who kept the community tradition
