In these challenging times it is comforting to know that some things can be counted on as rock solid components of our American Foundation. Clay County’s own George Lee Post 532 of the American Legion is one of them.
Unlike some posts, instead of raising funds through running a post club, we focus our efforts on directly supporting the four pillars of the American Legion. These include Veterans Affairs, National Security, Americanism and Children and Youth.
We welcome any and all veterans, regardless of service to check us out. I can assure you that you’ll find us most welcoming to each and every one without exception. As a very active post, we also invite the general public to show their support by a shout out for and invitation to several upcoming events.
9/11 Remembrance Ceremony, Saturday, September 11 at 9 a.m. at the Veterans Park.
POW/MIA Remembrance Day, Friday, September 17 at 6 p.m. at the Veterans Park.
