Government meetings
• The Town of Hayesville Council members will hold their monthly meeting at Town Hall at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14.
• Clay County Board of Commissioners, 6:45 p.m. the first Thursday of the month in the multi-purpose room at the Clay County Courthouse. Call 389-0089.

• Food assistance
