Former mayor and current Town Councilman Harry Baughn will take the stage with his band, 1st Train, at 7 p.m. Friday Aug. 19. Food and beverages will available at 6 p.m.

Trombone, trumpet, bass guitar, keyboard, saxophone, electric guitar and drums will fill the square. This nine-piece group loves to relive times passed. Come enjoy your favorite classic hit. Beer, wine and cider will be available to purchase from Laughing Waters, a new business coming to the square affiliated with Nocturnal Brewing. Nocturnal Brewing will have food available to purchase and the American Legion Auxiliary will be roasting their crowd-favorite hot dogs as a fundraiser for veterans.

The next dates for this year's concerts are Fridays, Aug. 26, Sept. 2 and 9. Be sure to save the dates. Alex Key has been rescheduled to August 26.

To see the full concert list visit: www.cccra-nc.org. This year CCCRA is selling “Summer Concerts on the Square” T-shirts. Make sure you grab one of these unique shirts at the CCCRA table. Cash or card accepted. CCCRA’s Summer Concert Series is made possible through sponsorships from private individuals, businesses, organizations and from donations to the red buckets on concert nights.

Don’t forget that Historic Hayesville Inc. offers free rides on the red rider to or from your vehicle and the square. Everyone is encouraged to bring friends and family, a lawn chair or blanket and come out to the square tomorrow night for good music, food and dancing

If we have to make the difficult decision to cancel and/or reschedule any of our Friday night concerts due to weather, an announcement will be made on both the CCCRA website and the CCCRA Facebook page. You are also welcome to email us at: claycountycommrevitalization@gmail.com.
