Cheerleaders and football players from the Clay County Youth League gather at Frank R. Long Memorial stadium during youth night recognition at the varsity football game. After playing on the road for several weeks, the young Jackets will compete in their second home game in Hayesville on Saturday, Sept. 30. Pee Wees start at 9:30 a.m.; 10:30 a.m. for the Termites; 12 p.m. is game time for the Mites and the Midgets take the field at 1:30 p.m. In addition to the excitement on the field, fans can enjoy hotdogs, barbecue and nachos among other snacks at the concession stand with proceeds going to benefit the youth league.
