The summer tradition of free music on the Hiawassee Town Square continues at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 20 with Struck by Lightning 2 taking the stage.
Struck by Lightning 2 is a high-energy acoustic duo based in north Georgia, featuring Bill Wilson and Steve Fineo. Known for their tight harmonies and full-band sound, they perform a wide-ranging setlist covering classic country, rock, pop and more. With experience playing pubs, wineries, festivals and private events, they deliver engaging, crowd-friendly performances tailored to any venue or audience. They also proudly support benefit events for veterans and first responders.
Every Saturday at 6:30 p.m., a different musical act will entertain locals and visitors alike at the Hiawassee Town Square. Come early to get a hotdog from the VFW Auxiliary Food Truck. Free concert. Ddonations appreciated. In the event of rain at concert time, concerts in June will be cancelled; concerts in July onward will be moved into the Towns County Civic Center.
