On Monday, May 2 Hayesville High School’s chapter of Tri-M inducted new members into their honor society and recognized continuing members and seniors. Tri-M is a national music honor society created by National Association for Music Educators. To be invited and remain a member students must participate in at least one music class or ensemble at Hayesville High School each school year, maintain at least a C average in all classes and maintain at least a B average in their music class.
Congratulations to the newly inducted members Madison Bright, Lyndsey Evans, Lauren Gottlieb, Michael Guathier, Grant Hendrix, Bethany Lugo, Wesley Myers, Serina Penland, Alex Perez, Dallyn Rhea and Garrett Segars. The continuing members of the chapter include Kyndall Arrowood, Hannah Chastain, Jacob Christiansen, Evin Fields, Jasmine Green and Breanna “Burna” McGough.
Seniors were honored with a pink graduation cord to represent the honor society at graduation this June. Seniors include Kyndall Arrowood, Bethany Lugo, Breanna “Burna” McGough, Serina Penland and Alex Perez.
