Veterans to assist in paver project

    Representatives working on the Veterans Memorial Park in Hayesville will be on hand Friday, May 31 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Clay County courthouse lobby to assist with selling pavers — personalized bricks honoring veterans.

    The pavers will be part of the Memorial Park site. The bricks are being sold at cost, $19.50.

    The group will have forms for those wishing to honor a veteran. If possible, you should have the rank and name of the veteran, branch of service and year dates of service and which war, if any.
