The following warrants were issued through the Clay County Sheriff’s Office for March 2-9. All individuals are considered innocent unless proven otherwise in court.
• Christian Cade Davies, 21, of Hayesville, written legal order. Released on March 4.
• Alicia Elizabeth Stroud, 42, of Hayesville, felony larceny, larceny by employee and obtaining property by false pretense. Released on March 9.
• Jason Russel Miller, 50, of Hayesville, misdemeanor larceny. Released on March 2.
• Diane Patricia Smith, 71, of Young Harris, Ga., sentenced.
• Melissa Ann McCarter, 54, of Elizabethton, Tenn., possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a place for a controlled substance.
• Gregory Austin Orr, 47, of Robbinsville, N.C., possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a place for a controlled substance.
• Donna Marie Anderson Gauthier, 40, of Warne, N.C., possession of drug paraphernalia and no liability insurance. Released on March 6.
• Steve Cassidy Stewart, 37, true bill indictment. Released on March 8.
