Baby Owen Chandler Phillips

Baby Owen Chandler Phillips peacefully slipped into the arms of Jesus on Jan. 19, 2021 while being held by his parents and surrounded by his grandparents.

He was born on Jan. 18, 2021 to Kalen Chandler and Ashley Chastain Phillips in Charlotte, N.C. Owen is the perfect mix of Ashley and Kalen, has a headful of beautiful hair that his mama loved to spike up and a little button nose that no one could resist. He is everything and more than his father dreamed of and a perfect mama's little man.

Owen is survived by his parents, Kalen and Ashley Phillips; grandparents, Stan and Stacy Chastain; Rick and Connie Phillips and Sheri and Tim Anderson; uncle and aunt, Lucas and Chelsey Phillips; uncles, Chase Phillips, Matthew Chastain, Andrew Neal and A.J. Neal; cousins, Callan and Blake Phillips. He is also survived by great-grandparents, many great aunts and uncles, along with extended family and friends.

We will hold you in our hearts, until we can hold you in heaven. Social distancing and masks are requested to keep all those who love Owen healthy.

Visitation was held from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 24 at First Free Will Baptist Church. Service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 24. Banister-Cooper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Baby Owen Chandler Phillips.
