Karen Jo Brendle

 Mrs. Karen Jo Brendle, age 57 of Brown Road, Blairsville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 10, 2021 in the Union General Hospital following a brief illness. Karen was born on February 7, 1964 in Cleveland, OH., daughter of the late Luther Brown & Grapelle Anderson. Karen was a loving & caring person; she dearly loved her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. Karen also loved being a care-taker & caring for others. She also owned & operated the Skillet Café for over 9 years; having served many meals for her loving customers. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister; Donna Ledford.    

Survivors include her loving husband; Kenneth Brendle of Blairsville, five children; Justin Brown of Blairsville, Cody & Molly Brendle of Blairsville, Haley Brown of Blairsville, Clinton & Jamie Brendle of Hayesville, Carmen & Bill Rose of Blairsville, one sister; Peggy Secura of Chargrin Falls, OH., ten grandchildren; Mitchell, D.J., Brooklyn, Keltsey, Keyla, Graycen, Dalton, Taylor, Ryan, Blake, and five great-grandchildren; Dominic, Leeland, Damian, Micah, and Berkley.   

Funeral services have been canceled due to illness in family and will be announced later. The family will still meet with friends on Friday evening from 6:00 until 9:00pm at the funeral home. Flowers are being accepted or if you wish the family requests that donations be made to the North Mt. Zion Church of God in Karen’s memory.
