Linda Twist, 77, of Hayesville, passed away Monday, Nov. 15, 2021, in an Asheville hospital. Linda was the daughter of the late Jack H. and Wealtha Hollingsworth. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jack Hollingsworth.
Survivors include her husband of more than 61 years, Ronald Twist; daughter, Deborah Matheson (Bobby), of Hayesville; son Ronald Jeffery Twist, Jr., of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; three grandchildren, Amber Taylor (Blake), Shannon and Jordan Twist; three great-grandchildren, Brayden Taylor, Gracely Taylor and Jordan Twist, Jr.
A private service will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Clay County Sheriff Cops For Kids program. Make checks or money orders payable to Clay County Sheriff with “Cops for Kids” in the memo line.
