Morris Lee Patterson, 80, of Hayesville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022.
He was born in Towns County, Ga. to the late Tun George and Elzie Arrowood Patterson. Morris had worked as a machine operator in wire manufacturing. He had also worked in well drilling for years with Kenneth Woodard. Morris enjoyed fishing and watching westerns. He was a member of Old Shooting Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to the parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Patterson.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta Ledford Patterson; a son, James Patterson, of Hayesville; a brother, J.W. Patterson, of Hayesville; and three grandchildren.
