Mr. James ‘Jim’ Kenneth Conlisk

Mr. James ‘Jim’ Kenneth Conlisk, 79, of Hayesville, passed away at his home on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022 following an extended illness. Jim was born on Oct. 23, 1942 in Chicago, Ill. to the late Kenneth Conlisk and the late Virginia Dudley Conlisk. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He obtained his bachelors degree and was a telecommunications engineer for U.S. West. He attended Chatuge Hills Assembly of God Church and enjoyed going to serve on foreign missions.

Mr. Conlisk is survived by his loving wife, Randi Holt Conlisk, of Hayesville; one daughter, Rebekah Conlisk, of Matthews, N.C.; one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Dawnelle Conlisk. of Billings, Mont.; one sister, Carol Bisching, of Creole Springs, Ill.; six grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth, Danny, Isabella, Gabriella, Timmy and Hope. Many other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2 from the Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Aline Mosteller officiating. Jim was laid to rest at 11 a.m. Tuesday Oct. 4 at Elmhurst Cemetery in Joliet, Ill. The family met with friends at the funeral home from 2-3 p.m. Sunday.
