Sandra Carter "Kay" Patterson, age 60 of Hiawassee, GA passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022.
She was born in Towns County, GA to the late Frank Richard and Flora Elma Harper Carter. Sandra was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, fishing and camping. Sandra enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Downings Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Harley Hutson who passed away in 1996 and Arthur Cowart.
She is survived by her husband, Benny Patterson; one son, Tony McFalls of Hayesville, NC; two daughters, Melanie Hutson (Hershell) of Young Harris, GA and Malinda Cowart (Jonathan) of Hayesville, NC; two brothers, Rickey Carter of Hayesville, NC and Michael Carter (Angie) of Murphy, NC; eight grandchildren; and six great grandsons.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 am, Friday, January 7, 2022 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville. Rev. Denny Moss will officiate
The family will receive friends from 10 am to 11 am, Friday, January 7, 2022 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville.
