Response regarding a recent letter in the Progress

Fact: Project 2025 is not a Trump playbook. Former administration employees working at a Think Tank are less of a threat to our democracy than former administration employees becoming pundits for Legacy Media.

A glaring threat to our democracy is a presidential candidate who did not receive a single vote from the American people. Kamala was installed after Joe Biden was forced to step down, similar to how things are done in third world countries.

Another glaring threat to our democracy is spending $151 billion and rising on the needs of illegal immigrants over the needs of American citizens, especially our veterans who pay taxes and higher prices to fund illegal immigrants. I would also say a threat to Americans is unvetted “bad actors,” people who hate America, commit crimes and are known terrorists to freely roam this country. Wouldn’t it be a threat to our democracy if an installed candidate won because these non-American citizens were allowed to vote?

Censorship of free speech, suppression of accurate information by the government, media and big tech collusion is also a threat to our democracy. Facebook and Twitter have admitted to censoring information at the behest of FBI, Hunter Biden’s laptop. The bias during the ABC debate is a classic example and even Democrats noticed. The law-fare by the DOJ against any opposition is a threat to our democracy. The thirst for power and a quest for a one-party nation is a threat to democracy. Our media traditionally was a watchdog, designed to hold governments and entities accountable. Today, most media outlets are a mouthpiece for the government. This should concern every American no matter their political leaning.

I won’t say do not vote for one candidate or the other. I would say dig deeper and look for the motivation of certain information and the desired effect of the information. Is it to enlighten you or mislead you? Also ask yourself who is deciding what is truth or disinformation, who benefits? Freedom of speech is a right and so is the freedom to form opinions from the source of your choice without castigation. Vote for the candidate that resonates with your interests and values. I believe that today’s conspiracy theories are tomorrows true crime stories. I am voting for my only choice to return America to the founding principles that made this nation great —Trump.
