The Hayesville Pride Committee would like to send out a big thank you to all sponsors and participants for coming out to our first annual “Gayesville” Pride Potluck and Really, Really Free Market on Tuesday, June 29 at Lake Chatuge. We had over 80 kind hearted and loving LGBTQ plus family and allies show up to help celebrate our day.
We had an abundance of delicious food, music and games for all of the young people and the young at heart.
Committee members Jan Chatterton,Cindy Nodine, Julia Hungerford and Paulinah Bakri would like to extend a very special thank you to Dianne Olansky, Susan P. Morgan, Barbara Lanwermeyer, Glyn Barney and Emmet Bondurant for your special contributions for our Pride and RRFM event. A very special thank you goes out to the Parish of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church of Hayesville for the use of their canopies and tables.
We would like to extend our thanks to Greg Hughes, the Hayesville Ingles manager for donating our “Love is Love” cake and a big thank you to the bakery staff for the beautiful job they did.
